**Scarce Colombian Contract FN 49 Rifle
.30-06. 23.2" barrel length. SN: 0953. Polished reblued metal finish overall set in sanded and refinished semi-pistol grip stock. Gas operated short stroke piston driven tilting locked semi-automatic rifle fed by semi-detachable box magazines. Right receiver manufacturer marking reads FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE-HERSTAL-BELGIQUE with the left displaying Belgian firing proofs. Top of the receiver shows the {Seal of Columbia} surrounded by the text COLUMBIA/FUERZAS MILITARES. Serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, and rear sight base. {C&R}

Condition
Good as Refinished. Bore is Bright with some visible pits and residues throughout. Refinish shows some spots of oxidation at the muzzle, some thinning to the edges, and pitting filled in with blue on the receiver and barrel band. Stock exhibits some dents that have been refinished, and some light scratches.
